Finished size is not the whole file
The finished size describes the card after trimming. A full-bleed design needs extra image or background beyond that edge so trimming does not reveal an unintended white line.
Different shapes, orientations, and card products can use different template boundaries. Treat the current product editor—not a remembered number—as the final authority for the specific card.
Protect the safe area
Names, phone numbers, URLs, QR codes, thin borders, and small logos should remain comfortably inside the safe boundary shown in the editor. Background color and photographs can extend through the bleed area.
